Council authorized an emergency home repair grant for Sharon Troutt, allowing improvements at 40 Hobson Place to move forward. Work will be completed by Dream Builders Plus, Inc.

5. Callahan Park Improvements Move Forward

Two park-related items were approved:

  • Submitting a $25,000 North Central Greenways Grant to replace the pedestrian bridge near the baseball fields

  • Purchasing six aluminum bleachers for Callahan Park baseball fields at a cost of $29,568, funded through the Trails and Recreation Fund

These improvements directly support accessibility, safety, and recreation for families.

6. T-Mobile Microgrant for Fire Department Training Upgrades

The Fire Department will receive $2,329.46 from the City’s T-Mobile Microgrant Program to upgrade training room equipment at Central Fire Station.
